About the roundtable host

Gopal Moorthy
Vice President – South Asia

As the Vice President of Crown Worldwide – South Asia, Gopal has been responsible for the Moving Services business in India for 8 years.

Since 2013, he has been a prime mover in taking strategic decisions which helped the Moving Services division in increasing its market share and profitability.

Gopal started his career with Tata Electric Companies. His rich and diversified portfolio includes successful stints with Blue Star Ltd., Tata Honeywell, System Sensor, Tyco and Ion Exchange Ltd.

His all-round business acumen extends to other divisions, including Records Management and World Mobility divisions. He has worked closely to charter the business strategy for these divisions as well.

Gopal has been instrumental in the success of Crown’s activities in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. He also leads the Fine Art division of Crown in the South Asia market.

Gopal is a qualified Engineer, graduating in Electronics & Communication. He also has a post graduate degree in Marketing from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

Patrick Groth
Regional Director, Sales and Account Management, Asia Pacific

Patrick Groth is a senior and well-regarded relocation industry professional. He has been actively involved in the mobility industry since 1998 and has worked for several relocation management companies such as, Primacy and Cartus, before joining Crown’s Key Account Services Team in October 2012 as Global Account Executive, based in the Netherlands.

In January 2014, Patrick was appointed to the role of Crown World Mobility Director Asia, based in Hong Kong. His main objective was to lead the World Mobility Services teams in Asia for all operational aspects of customer service delivery and worked closely with his counterparts in EMEA, Americas and Australasia. In 2017, he was appointed as the Regional Director, Sales and Account Management, Asia, driving the development of new corporate business through focused and effective sales. Last year, Patrick was appointed as Regional Director, Sales and Account Management, Asia Pacific. His focus is leading sales and account management teams across Asia Pacific, including Australia and New Zealand. This helps to further align the region and offers greater support to Australia and New Zealand.
