Chile: Update on COVID-19 requirements for entry
Effective May 09, 2023, the restrictions for individuals travelling to Chile will be lifted and proof of a negative test and the vaccine certificate will be no longer required before travel. The random testing of visitors will also cease.

Denmark: Additional requirement in Fast Track applications
SIRI (the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration), has announced a new requirement for companies hiring foreign nationals in Greenland. From May 15, 2023, it will be required for companies using the Fast Track Scheme (a scheme that allows certified companies to recruit foreign employees to work in Denmark in a faster and more flexible way), to submit documentation proving that they have the relevant permit issued by a Greenlandic municipal when applying for a residence and work permit. The obligation to submit the application form with passport and contract continues to be applicable.

Finland: Update on A1 certificates for short business trips
The Finnish Centre for Pension has issued specified instructions to a previous policy on A1 certificates for short business trips. The A1 certificate is not required anymore unless the host country requests it. This is valid for short conferences or business trips and the certificate can be requested retroactively.

Saudi Arabia: Electronic visa for selected countries
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has switched to an electronic visa with QR code instead of the visa sticker on the beneficiary’s passport in seven countries: Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Philippines and the United Arab Emirates. The transition process will be implemented gradually and it will apply to work, residence and visit visas.
