New Zealand: Border reopening

The New Zealand government has announced that the border will be re-opening to all tourists and visa holders from July 31, 2022. This includes the maritime border, which will also be re-opening to foreign-flagged vessels, including cruise ships. Fully vaccinated visa holders of the new Accredited Employer Work Visa (to be launched on July 4, 2022) will be permitted to enter New Zealand.

United Kingdom: New countries to be added to the electronic visa waiver program

The U.K. government announced that two Middle East countries, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, will be added to the electronic visa waiver program from June 1. With this program individuals will be allowed to stay for up to six months and perform business, study or receive medical treatment. The application for the waiver must be applied here prior to entry.
