Vietnam: Update on multiple entry business visaVietnam

The Vietnam Ministry of Public Security has announced that an application process for certain Multiple Entry Business Visa (MEBV) applicants must now be done through a new online portal. The process is undertaken by sponsoring companies who must first acquire an e-signature from a local Vietnamese telecommunications company. After creating a new account, sponsoring companies can apply for MEBV’s for their foreign national employees.

The aim of the portal is to make the application process smoother, since there is no need for a local company representative to visit the immigration bureau.

The process is mandatory and any applications that are not submitted through the online portal may be rejected.
