    • Suspension of transactions: The following transactions at BI offices are temporarily suspended, except for outbound passengers intending to depart the Philippines from any international airport:
        • Filing applications for non-immigrant / immigrant visa extension (including hearing or interview)
        • Filing conversion applications to non-immigrant / immigrant visas (including hearing or interview)
        • Filing applications regarding Filipino citizenship such as under RA 9225 for Citizenship Retention and Re-acquisition (including hearing or interview)
        • Filing for downgrading of visa status
        • Filing for tourist visa extension
        • Filing applications for Special Work Permits (SWP) or Provisional Work Permits (PWP)
        • Filing the renewal of Alien Certificate Registration (ACR) I-Cards
        • Implementation of BOC-approved visa applications for extension or conversion to non-immigrant / immigrant visas
    • Visa extensions: All aliens whose visas expire during the MECQ period are directed to pay their visa extensions at the airport; provided, that overstaying shall be less than six months.
