At the beginning of the year, many employers found their employees in the middle of or getting ready for assignments abroad. When borders started closing, it left a lot of questions up in the air. With so many uncertainties, a large number of employees decided to repatriate, either temporarily or permanently.
Lisa Johnson, Global Practice Leader, Consulting Services, at Crown World Mobility, was featured in Mobility Magazine’s August edition to discuss the different types of repatriations that have affected businesses over the past 8 months.
She takes a deeper look into employers facing numerous repatriations and what questions they must consider. The biggest differentiator is whether the repatriation is temporary or permanent.
