Event Itinerary

  • Breakfast upon arrival
  • Session 1 – Global Mobility Trends
  • Session 2 – Changes to immigration process into Sweden

Session 1 – Global Mobility Trends

The last couple of years have sparked an enormous amount of change and altered not only employees’ perspectives on life and work but also determined how global mobility professionals respond to these changes. Furthermore the economic uncertainty accelerated by spiralling inflation means mobility investments are ever more scrutinized. So how is global mobility adapting to that change? Crown and Mercer will facilitate an interactive session to deep dive into three key themes:

  •  Trends in alternative types of Global Mobility including International Remote Working surveys
  • How technology can drive cost savings and deliver a better employee experience
  • How to align your GM programme with your organisation’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals

Attendees will be invited to participate in a roundtable discussion and share their experiences and thoughts on each of these topics, further enhancing the networking opportunities.

Session 2 – Changes to immigration process into Sweden

Earlier this year the Swedish Migration Agency confirmed that they will introduce changes to the current process, and sweeping changes in the current work permit processes. How will this new model and other changes impact the recruitment of foreign staff and your existing foreign employees? Join Crown’s immigration team for an exciting roundtable discussion when we speak about what this could mean for your company and what others see as their challenges.

Topics include:

  • New model for work permits from January 2024
  • How will the SSYK code have an impact
  • Increase in minimum salary
  • Changes to the EU blue card
  • The introduction of ETIAS
