Application cut-off dates 

In view of the upcoming holiday season, MYXpats Centre and the Expatriate Service Division (ESD) system will be conducting maintenance.
Please refer to the details below for all application cut-off dates.

MYXpats Centre 

  • Passport submissions: December 19, 2017
  • Any manual submissions (via counter): December 27, 2017
  • Closes December 26, 2017 at 6 p.m. The system will not be available until January 2, 2018 at 8 a.m. 
  • Online submissions will not be accepted during this period
Key considerations
  1. Companies are strongly advised to submit any new or renewal applications while the system is accessible
  2. Companies are also advised to apply for Special Pass for renewals application (if the applicant remains in Malaysia) before December 27, 2017 for permits that are due to expire on January 2, 2018

New requirements for permits applied through the MDeC

Companies are now required to use standardized documents for permit applications via the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDeC).
